Default 243 heads

i have not tooken my car to the track but i was wondering how much would 243 p&p milled and bigger valves take off 1/4 mile right now i have stock 853 heads and would it help my car have a better top end my mods are in my signature..........on a other note i want to go with ms3 cam with the 243 head would there be a big diffrent on low and top end.

torquer 2) 232/234 .595 .598 112lsa
ms3 ) 237/242 .603 .609 112lsa

Ported 243 castings are a really nice budget head to go with. The cars around here (where I live) are making pretty impressive numbers and are pretty quick to have a factory casting head. As for cams both are nice I have experience with both and both are make pretty nice number, TSP makes nice stuff. Just depends on your needs,wants, and budget as to which cam is best. I would say give TSP a call.

i honestly am not sure how much but i know you'll get a good difference switching from 853's to 243's . . . . especially with that cam!
