first day for engine repair as the title says this is my first day of my engine rebuild and so far Im very impressed w/the ls1. first off have to send thank you to keliente
High Maintenance Director for her awsome thread on how to remove the engine from the bottom it worked like a charm. the car has 89000 miles on it there is no scoring on the cylinders, : you can still see the cross hatching, bearings all look good, and there are no real signs of wear of any kind, the only thing i have found wrong is that the timing chain has alot of play in it. this thread has no point but i just wanted every one to know that the ls1 is truly touch by the hand of god. looking forward to getting her running again
would love to hear any feed back on your opinion of the ls1.
