Default Wont Start Help!

i just got done my H/C install but when i went to start it it wont fire up. i installed LS6 oil pump, MS4 cam/LS6 Ported heads, 30# SVO injectors, UD pulley. im wondering if the injectors is just washing down the cylinders because for now im on stock tune. i pulled the valve covers and the see the rockers moving so i know the cam is turning.... any help would be appreciated thanks

you need a tune..esp with those injectors. you r risking washing down your cyl walls.

Jus opened my timing cover and it reaks of gas! also while jacking up the front of my car gas was coming out my headers(open headers).... could it be that it just wasnt starting because it was being washed down with wayy to much gas? also if i hand turn the motor and it only turns so much before it locks up...does it mean that the cam is installed wrong?? thanks!

sounds like your not getting any spark either. make sure all your grounds are hooked up on the back of the drivers side head

also the plugs were covered with gas so obviously it couldnt give any spark anymore. the only way the motor turns by hand is if i loose the rockers (guessing thats bringing the valves back up)... could this be a sign of PTV issues?

Talk it over with TSP, see if they've had cases where the piston crowns had to be clearanced. Also ask about pushrod length requirements.

first i would take out all the spark plugs and disconnect all the injectors. then crank the motor a couple of times to get rid of some of the gas that is in the cylinders, then throw everything back together (new spark plugs preferably) and try starting it.

the cam sensor is in the back of the motor beside the oil pressure sensor

i believe the crank sensor is behind the started on the engine block if i remember correctly.

You can't just stick new injectors in there without adjusting for them. Take the plugs out and with everything else hooked up turn it over by hand to make sure it turns freely. If it does, make sure you have the original injectors in, put in new plugs, make sure all your connections are tight and correct and fire it up. The temp sensor will not stop it from starting.

Pull the fuel pump fuse, take the plugs, out and turn the engine over a couple times the gas will come out the spark plug holes. It sounds to me you are not getting spark go over eveything really good and double check your grounds. Good luck

p.s if you do get it started change the oil right away, alot of the extra gass will end up in the oil.

Looks like your injectors are "leaking" badly... I suspect your injector harness is shorted to ground keeping the injectors on all the time... (or maybe your PCM is bad... I don't think it is...).

If the crank sensor was bad then the injectors (and the spark plugs) would not fire.
