a dry shot is nitrous only and a wet shot is nitrous and fuel. post nitrous questions in the nitrous section and check out the stickies also.

a wet shot is definately better because with a dry the computer has to compensate and add extra fuel to the mix. but with a wet it already has the perfect mixture ie: more power and less chance of bad juju

one is wet and one is dry....

Wet pumps gas and nitrous at the same time while dry uses the computer to add fuel...

The negative to a wet shot is more $$$$ and if it puddles in your intake ............BOOM

The danger with a dry shot is if you have fueling problems you can go lean and break a ringland etc.....

But if done right either can be pretty safe.......
