Default Base pan....

can i remove the base pan without removing the engine in my car.

Something let go while dyno tuning and want to get a quick look to see the damage....it's going to be weeks before I can pull the engine.

you mean the oil pan ?

yes you can remove it with the engine still in car.

1 put a jack under the crank pulley

2 remove the 4 bolts on each motor mount connected to the k member

3 pump the jack slightly to lift the motor up

4 undo the 3 k member bolts on each side

5 let the k member hang down

6 remove all the oil pan bolts and the pan should come out no problem

let us know how it goes. good luck
