Default hotcam install

i am getting ready to install the ls1 hotcam and was wondering what else i should upgrade along with springs, and retainers? also i have a set of 42# injectors sitting new in the box along with a walbro intake pump, should i put these in or will i be fine with my stock fuel system? one more thing could i do my tune with the preditor and then take it to a dyno b/c the closest dyno is a couple of hours away.

any help or suggestions would be great. thanks

42lb is huge!!!!!!!

you wont need it just for the hotcam........

A custom predator tune should be fine with that cam, the only reason you would probably need it at all is because of the headers.forget the injectors.

if your going power adder later on it would be good to install the walbro to be on the safe side especially n2o.staying n/a for now stock pmp.would be fine.

one more thing, will i have any problems with the 1.8 rocker arms or do i need to go back to stock?

You might need better valvespring with the 1.8s giving you higher than the .525 lift of the hotcam.

with the hot cam and 1.8 rockers you'll have a lift of .555? unless the kit comes with 02+ ls6 springs then you'll either need to get new ones or go back to the stock 1.7 rockers.
