ls6 intake questions whats the largest throttle body u can stick on a ls6 intake
what size is stock throttle body
how much can u port it for a larger throttle body

I'd just use a stock ported TB. i believe the LS6 intake opening is 75mm?? so putting a larger TB wouldnt make any sense. Its like shoving alot of air into a little opening. ive never heard of someone porting the Intake opening, only the ports...
-there is barly anything there to port....
-78 mm is just about it....bbk makes an 80mm but it has a reducer plate that goes back down to 78.
-your option a, is just get a good ported stock tb....works great
-option b, go to www.tpis.com and they offer a service that cuts off the hole and epoxys a 90mm 4 bolt tb inlet with gains with in 5hp of a fast....costs around 350+ a ls6 intake....then you gotta get a 90mm tb, but so far the gains of this exact mod are right up there with gettin a fast but costs less....
