Default Oil change question

This is my first car that is not my DD and that I store in the garage to drive on occasion. I was wondering how often people are changing their oil on cars in a similar situation.

3 months or 3 thousand miles is what I always go by. Unless it sits all winter then I just change it before the first time I drive it.

I have a garage queen (2000z W/ 33,xxx miles) When I do take it out it gets driven hard. I change the oil with mobil 1, about every 1,000 miles / 3 months. I will usually change it in the spring when I get it out of storage no matter the miles, because it sits for about 4-5 months in winter. I'm on the over kill side i know, but oil is cheap and forged moters aren't.

Yeah I change it when I get it out after winter. Just didn't know if the oil life would go that bad after 3 months of not driving much (maybe 200 miles TOPS).
