Will an 05 LS2 GTO cam work in a LS1???

Will an 05 LS2 GTO cam work in a LS1??? I am rebuilding a high mile LS1 and was going to put my stock 06 GTO cam in as a minor upgrade..... Found out it won't work since there is no pickup on the cam for the cam sensor....
Guess that part is a paper weight now...
Will the 05 LS2 cam work or is it basically NONE of the LS2 cams work in a Ls1???

I was able to answer my own question.....with the help of Speed Inc.
LS2 cams will not work in ls1 engines UNLESS you use a LS2 front cover and the cam sensor extension harness. You also need the LS2 2x timing gear for the cam since this is what the sensor looks at. I will be picking up the parts from them today so the motor will be back together tonight.
