When to change springs?
When to change springs? For you guys running high lift cams, I know the valve springs have to be changed every once in a while. How do you know when to change them?
Kinda depends on the springs, too. With my new Comp 926s, and a .575/.563 lift cam, the exact answer I got was, "These will last you over 100k race miles."
OK, so it was a little exageration. The point was that I was going to blow something else in the motor before the springs were an issue.

Check them 10k or every year and if they are below spec then replace.
I had 918's with my T2 cam for over 30k w/o losing pressure. I now have dual springs, and I still check them every year, and I only put about 7k or less a year on my car from now on.
