Arrow dual springs

i was going to get some single springs but i keep reading these horror stories about springs breaking . Are there any dual springs that can be used with stock retainers ?? i am on a budget so i need the best bang for the buck.

also has anyone ever had a problem with manley's what is the part numbers of the ones yall were using.

dunno the part number, but Rev duals have 2 versions...
Mine the heavy duty which require machining but are quiet, and the non heavy duty that fit like stockers are great..

the manleys are great springs too...can't go wrong w/either.

Personal testimony...I've had an MTI X1 cam .591/.571 lift w/mine for almost 20K mile and they look brand new. and very little noise.

Hmm, I think I am going to switch from my Comp 918s. How long can you use those springs?

what cam are you gonna use Red01Chevy ? if its under .580 lift a single spring like manleys with tit retainer will be fine. i running that with my 230, springs and tit. retainters only cost 178 from SDPC (great service too). i was running rev duals but swapped them out. there a direct drop in and the stock retainer will fit it its not recommended.

Crane sells their dual spring in kit form, you can either specify steel or titanium retainers.

Crane sells their dual spring in kit form, you can either specify steel or titanium retainers. Not sure if they sell just the springs, but I'm sure oyu can call them and find out.

I know the Crane duals are drop-ins, no machining required. They've got a good rate and are quiet, so there's no knock sensor issues.

I'd say just price everything out and see what best fits into your budget. It's defintiely worth the money though to go with the dual springs. It's a good piece of mind to have in case of a valve train disaster.

you'll see the best gains if you have some bolt ons; LT's, lid, catback, intake. should be a nice low end mid range cam

i got my springs shipped quick, ordered them sunday night and had them on wednesday.
