I am looking at getting a headand cam package from slp and it said i need to get the ls6 head conversion. What is that? It said 97-98 ls1 I have a 98 T/A.

 

The kit is probably new valve covers and a mounting rail for the coil packs. The 97-98 LS1's had different bolt patterns for the valve covers and the coils mounted differently. 99 and up heads (ie, LS6 heads) would need the new style covers and coil mounts.

 

let me save you the time and money. dont get there package. hit up tea, patriot, and absolute here (there sponsors) and they can set you up witha h/c package that'll out perform and probably come in cheaper then the slp. slp is over priced and over rated.
