what year did vettes come with ls6's in em?

an does GM make forged crank's an rod's?

The C5 vetts came with LS6's in the Z06 model which was produced from 2001-2004.... 01-02 came with 385hp, 03-04 came with 405hp do to having sodium filled valves.... As far as GM making Forged components, I dont think they do but I could be wrong....

ya it sounded weird to me the guy said it has gm forged crank an rods but 500$ for a 03 vette short block w/ 42k, better then my 143k ls1 with 853 heads

True Dat.... GM never made any forged motors..... But he very well could have forged the motor with aftermarket components.....
