Default ms4 DD?

Im curious how many of you guys DD your MS4. I have an 02 Z28 A4, its going to have full intake and exhaust. Just curious how the street manners are. Also if you have any dyno/quarter mile numbers Id love to see them. Thanks!

Search the dyno comparison section, im sure you can find #'s in there for that camshaft.

But I have to ask, WHY do you want such an insane cam for a DD?

I have a m6 ms4 it works great and I've had friends with the ms4 on there a4 and we all agreed all good for dd it depends on the tuner you go to though bad tuner then it will run like ****. I don't have dyno numbers but I went 120 mph in the quarter not a good time cuz I sucked at slipping the clutch so my 60' sucked I'm better now mid 11's should be good now so with an auto 4k stall and gears you should go
mid to high 11's on stock heads no problem

Would it be a bad idea to get a canned tune for the ms4? Up here we only have 1 shop with a dyno and they charge an asston

You could try a mail order tune for it that will atleast be good enough for it to run.

I personally feel that driveability has a lot to do with the opinion of the person driving the car. With a good tune, the correct gears, and the right stall the MS4 can be daily driven easily. You just have to remember that cam is not going to have the same low end power as a 224. I personally daily drove an MS3 cam for 2 years with stock gears before getting myself another driver. The tune is paramount in having good driveability.

Wait4me did the original tune for my car when it was a little more tame. He was spot on.
