Default Cam question X1 vs TR224

Ok i have heard that a smaller cam can outrun a bigger cammed car because it doesnt have as long to get to its powerband. my question is the mTI X1 cam VS TR224 cam which one would be a better performer? I am gonna be going cam only with longtubes/y-pipe/cutout/4.10s and i wanna make sure i pick the perfect cam for me. Driveability is not a real big issue. The car will see most of its action on the street. thanks guys

x1 will make more peak power. the x1 is simlar to the tr230 and the 230 only makes minimal hp more and about the same tq as the 224. i'd go with the 224 112 myself

do a little more research on cams since you dont sound all to confident. there are plenty of good cam threads to get you educated.

The 4.10's should get it in the powerband quick enough. Go with the TR230 unless you have to pass emissions, then get the TR224 114.

Yes, the big cams perform great all around.
I had a medium sized cam. Now have a large cam. Am very happy.

Go with the bigger Cam.It gives up nothing in the lower rpm range to the 224.
