7.4length pushrods and milled heads..please help!

I have a set of 2.02 heads that are milled down .030,so im told.I was also told that the previous owner of the heads ran stock length pushrods with a tr224 cam.I am installing a ASA cam and was wondering if i need shorter rods.Or if this is true.Thank you for your input and help.

The only way to know you're getting the correct length pushrods is to use a length checker. Measure and then order. You might save yourself some money.

That is the only way of getting the correct size for rods if you do it any other way you are in trouble and will spend more than you want. Also make sure you are using the correct lifter and the correct way of setting your preload. If you use the wrong lifter, your rod length will be wrong and will make everything run like ****.
