i just received my manley valve springs from Scoggin Dickey.
But theyre not tappered?? doesnt all LS1 springs have to be tappered? Did anyone else have this problem? can i run the springs they sent??

you need the correct retainers for the "non-tapered" springs

what fireball said. you just need a new retainer, why didnt you get the whole spring set with manley springs and tit retainer. thats what i bought, only 178. and only the 918's are beehive design besides the stock and ls6 springs. and didnt you look at a pic of the springs that are on the site, you can clearly see they arent beehive.

i did get the whole kit but i just didnt want to put that in my car without been sure
