232/232 with 602.lift?
It'll work. I've been running the G5X2 (232/240 .595/.608) with stock heads and no P to V issues.
What springs exactly, do you mean by "beehive springs"? A cam with that much lift, you're gonna need a double spring that can handle it. Crane makes one good to .650, and the REVs are good to .625

dude, its obvious your a cam newbie. take the time to read up on the plethora of excellent cam threads we have. if you did you would know 918's are only rated to .600 lift and are breaking on cams with a lot less. and if you car aint built up with the supporting bolt ons forget about that cam. whats the lsa as well?
Dude, 918's aren't gonna work at that kinda lift. Duals are the way to go. Unless you have like 10k laying around to blow on a cam package, then on a new motor when you blow yours due to spring failure. Read up on cams. I think on installuniversity.com or something along those lines there is a cam install write up, and it has a little section about choosing a cam. Definitely read that. Your motor needs to be built up to a cam package, there are many steps before that. Throwing a cam into a stock engine isn't going to be a cure all. Spend a month or so reading all the posts in the internal engine section, there are TONS of cam discussions in there. Learn a lot, and the choice will almost be made for you.
I don't know how the hell you guys fit a cam in that big with no pv problems. If your running stock rockers i guess it will fit but put some real rockers on like jessels 1.7 and i think you will have a problem. I had smaller cams that would'nt clear with my jessels but would clear with stockers.I think with the bigger cams you should invest in better rockers. more spring pressure more chance of valve train faliure. The reason stock rockers clear and aftermarts won't is because stockers are not a true 1.7 and have alot of deflection were the aftermarkets are true 1.7 and have no deflection. just my .02
