fel pro head gasket -?'s I have heard that the fel pro head gaskets for the ls1's are .041" compressed compared to the .054" GM gasket. I am looking for the .041" fel pro but cannot find any technical info in the master catalog about this gasket. Are all of the fel pro head gaskets for the ls1's .041"? Does fel pro make a stock thickness gasket? I just purchased a set of the fel pro 9284 PT head gaskets from Autozone-has anyone purchased these gaskets/anyone know the compressed thickness of the 9284 PT fel pro head gasket from Autozone???

Re: fel pro head gasket -?'s I am intersted in this also. If the Fel pro gasket is a little thinner than the factory gasket, I would like to go to this gasket and pick up a little compression and have a better gasket hopefully.
