I am about to install a stock camshaft I got from a board member in my '98 Trans Am. It is supposed to be part number 12560965, but I do not see that anywhere on the camshaft. It has some other numbers on the end that faces the firewall, but not that part number or anything like it. Is there a way to check to make sure I have the right cam?

 

Found the part number. It is indeed the right camshaft.
