Bent rod?

Bent rod? I FINALLY got my cam in, and when they pulled out my rods, one was bent twice! Had a big bend one way a little in the other. I thought a bent rod would do damage, but I have been noting less power than normal before the install. I wonder how long it has been like that? Oh well, sorry for the rant, laters.

Yeah I did notice a ticking, a buddy of mine an I thought it was a header gasket leak. What's wierd is it sounds simmilar to that after the install (new springs and hardened rods of course). I'm pretty sure it's just the valvetrain just being plain louder than it was. About the mis-shifts, I have had a few. I think ALMOST every f-body driver has done it more than once.
