Default Leakdown Results :(

Ok so a friend of mine did an LS1 swap into a 240sx. While the motor was out the following was done:

MLS Headgasket
LS7 lifters
Dual springs
Hardened pushrods.

Leakdown comes in at

1-10
2-11
3-22
4-0
5-0
6-11
7-19
8-19

He said that even with the rockers tq# 22lbs he can move them if that makes sense. Well any help would be appreciated. I am think possibly PtV contact? Valeseals? Pushrod length?

Thanks,
Andrew

the rockers should be loose when the valve is completely shut. the rocker mount is seperate from the rocker arm. take all of the rockers loose and do a leakdown test. that will rule out pushrods and rocker problems. then it only leaves it to rings, gaskets, ptv problems ect. list what cam u have and what heads,

With the leakdown gauge attached and pressurized, whip out your mechanic's stethoscope and listen for the source of the leak.

Intake valve = hiss audible at the TB
Exhaust valve = hiss audible at the exhaust manifold
Rings = hiss audible at the dipstick

Gasket: air bubbles in coolant tank. Removing the rockers is a good idea since it doesn't take a lot of work to put them back on. Make sure piston is a TDC. It doesn't matter what stroke your in in this situation since you've got the rockers and pushrods removed.
