Default Help on mild ls1 buildup

Ok, I am just starting off an ls1 swap into an s10, and I have decided to get the engine finished before I get the truck ready so I can just get the truck done and drop it in. I do want to mod the engine so I would be in the area of 400-450 HP. And I wanted to hear some feedback and recomendations about what specific head and cam packages can get the job done. Also, what kind of valvetrain is recomended? I have heard alot of good things about the new comp cams dual spring set ups, but how much do they run? I was thinking for the first initial build up, I would go stageII ls6 or stage II patriot heads fitted with 2.055-1.60 valves, along with a cam, maybe the x1 or the r1 cam from mti, and for the valvetrain a dual spring set up along with a set of hardened pushrods and lifters, but I dont know who makes good lifters or pushrods***recomendations. What do you think? hp wise, reliability wise. Also what you would do to improve what I have come up with. Does anyone know a good head and cam place around houston besides mti, they have some pretty wild rides, but then again so are their prices. One thing I do want to do is keep away from power adders for right now. I have to pace myself.lol Any advice is appreciated.
