Pushrod length - In the middle of Spring swap.

Ended up with a 7.425" pushrod which put me at a pretty consistent 1/8" preload across the board. After getting the help from yall, and hitting up Comp about the lifters, I came to the conclusion that I would try this setup and see how she worked out. Comp pretty much said that the least amount of preload I could get, while still having some, would be best for me with these lifters. Although my specific rep didn't know the exact limit to the depth of the pushrod, he seemed to think that the big problem with running much preload with these lifters was bottoming out. Patrick G seems to get away with .035+ preload so I'm hoping that the .005 to .015 range will be fine for me (guess we'll see =) ). Car seems to be running great and very quiet under the hood. No valvetrain noise whatsoever (other than initial startup the first time for just a sec till everything got really lubed up). Couldn't be happier with the result.

With 1/8th of a turn with aluminum block and heads you should be fine. I'm glad it all worked out. I hate to see people so close and give up because of one last problem...
