Patriot sII 5.3 heads (velocity needed for 5000ft+ elevation)
New stock lifters, pushrods and stock rockers.
Now I need to choose a cam. I have an LS6 here, but everyone says its too mild. So.. What do you guys think?
I need to pass Colorado Emissions (IM240) and will be tuning it. Let make it thump!
I can'thelp you with your cam, (don't know about smog)but maybe you can help me with mine.
I live at 4,800ft and am looking at building my 5.7LS1. So far I'm looking at stage II 5.3L heads (10.8:1) and a 228/228 (or so) cam with 112 lsa.
I'm running Long Tubes and the SLP OE airlid. Any advice for high altitude tuning or building?
