what truck or truck year comes with a 6.0 and are they as good as an ls2

In terms of being better performers, LS2 then LQ9 and bottom of the pit are LQ4s (dished pistons)
The trick is to find LQ9s at a decent price.

I know that the ls2 blocks are aluminum and the lq4 & lq9 blocks are iron which would be heavier but stronger.

it really depends on how far (HP wise) you plan for the motor. i woudlnt call the LS2 weak by any means. LS2 > LQ9 > LQ4 in terms of stock HP. you can build all with a stroker to 400+ ci. some people like the safety of an iron block, some like the light weight an an all aluminum motor. if it was me, i wouldnt go iron blocks unless going FI over 700-800rwhp.
