Default Is it normal for the "low coolant" light to be on after the TB bypass?

I just did the TB bypass mod, and now my "low coolant" light comes on periodically. Is this a normal occurrence?

My question is have you changed out the thermostat or did you just put the bypass in and that's all? Cause in my old 98 I changed the thermostat and in my 98 ss I put a 160 degree thermo in it and they both give the low coolant light but neither one overheats or get any hotter than it should. But I noticed with both of them if I get on it kinda hard espeically taking off then it will come on. I heard that light does that on some cars and it don't on others. I would like to know also. Your not the only.

Check your coolant and see how it looks. If your dex-cool has decided it is finished then it may have sludged up and taken out your low coolant sensor. It is definitely not normal for a TB bypass to set off the light, unless you spilled alot of coolant and didnt replace it.
