Default Valvetrain recommendations?

I have a 04 ls1, put it in a Panoz racecar, and i want to upgrade the valvetrain to handle higher rpm's @7000, more as a precaution.

I have read lots of posts but still foggy....

so far it sounds like:

stock rocker arms modified by harland sharp.

but what pushrods? stock length is 7.4 right?

CTS-V lifters?
springs?

Also, sounds like i spun a bearing on the dyno, but that's another issue.

Default

Springs depend on the cam, I have a medium sized cam 219/235 .620" lift and run 918s with tool steel retainers.

Stock rocker arms are just fine but...HS does a trunion swap and I read somewhere Comp does too, but havent seen any. (mine are totally stock)

Pushrods are 5/16" thick and 7.400" long, I would get the thickest wall you can get. Most aftermarket ones are .080", I went with Comps .105" wall pushrods myself.

Lifters, Ive heard good and bad about a lot of lifters, consensus seemd to be that if you want to go a little more expencive you can get the Lunati/Morel lifters. I went with the tried and true (and much cheaper) Comp 850-16s.

I have ZERO problems going 7000 RPM.
