Default Rocker problems

Got a buddy with a problem. Looking for some ideas. Just had the 2nd rocker arm break in 3 months. He installed a cam and car ran good for a month or so then it broke the a rocker on the dr side. When i say broke i mean needle bearing fell out. Replaced it and now a month later one of them just did the samething on the pass side. I've never seen anything like it. Piston to valve clearance was checked when installed. Its not coil bind either. Any ideas thanks.

Are these stockers? If yes, this is a known issue and higher spring forces and lifts will just exacerbate the problem. Have you looked into the new trunnion kit from Comp that replaces the bearings and trunnion of the rocker?

When you have a problem with a stock rocker puking out the bearings you should replace all of the rockers not just the one that puked the bearings.

yeah there were stock rockers. I told him that he should change all of them after the first one broke but like most collage students he just wanted to do whatever to get by. I will tell him about that comp deal also. thank u

Could be the mechanic is a total piece of **** and swaped out the good rockers for bad rockers. Or it could be the cam wasn't paid for and the cam gods are making it hell on you... Lets see... The list can go on and on.... Pretty shitty that you ignore everyone, steal from your friends, and then have the ***** to post on this forum. Lets see if you reply *******!

Lets make a list so people know what they are dealing with.
1) Stole engine parts from his friend
2) Stole a bike from his friend
3) Stole a 2nd bike from another friend

Shall I go on dick????
