Stroker Motors

Is there anybody out there that just strokes their motor, and no bore? If so whats the biggest stroke you can do?

typical is 4" stroke which is 382 cid. you could put in a 4.125" crank but it needs some clearancing, I think...

Does the block need any clearancing with the 4.0" stroke?

You can get a 382 with a 4" stroke and a 393 with a 4.125 stroke. Both need clearencing. No big deal. I would recommend the 382.
