Default Where Can I Find An Ls6 Shortblock?!

So I think I have some internal engine issues (either a spun bearing, a wrist pin that is sticking, or really really really bad piston slap). In any event, I don't want to keep my bottom end anymore.

I got the stuff forged a few years ago thinking I would go FI down the road, but that's not going to happen. What I do want now is just as solid stock bottom end - preferably an Ls6 instead of an Ls1 (essentially identical I know, but I haven't seen nearly as many bottom end Ls6's as I have Ls1s), but I can't find them anywhere! I've even been just looking for a new one and can't find that.

Anyone know where I can find a new one?

Well this isn't a shortblock (I'm not even sure GM offers LS6/1 shorts anymore) but you could pick up ~25rwhp with the better heads or sell them for a nice chunk.

Good luck,

SDPC has a nice sale of LS6 short blocks right now, give them a call.
