Default comments on my soon to come set up...

i've been reading around a lot lookin at as many h/c setups as possible and comparing dyno sheets and off the shelf camshafts with customs ones and everything else. i've also talked to some knowlegable guys at the track who are DAMN succeful with they're setups. i talked to tsp and got a better idea of what to look for so basically here's what im workin with. stock bottom end(for now)lookin to spray 150-200 on a two stage set up so i need a cam that'll like nitrous. i have 4.10's in my nine inch and i like them so a cam with a little more duration would be benefitial to me. i'm six speed so stall doesn't matter. i dd the car so it's gotta be somewhat tame. I don't feel a need to go custom because i feel the tsp 233/239 with a .595/.603 is perfect and will match up quite nicely to a set of PRC stage 2.5 heads. it's got the xer lobes which i've heard a lot of good **** about. i've heard the cam idle even with the 112 lsa and it sounds way smaller then it is which is another plus. I haven't decieded on the lsa yet (choices are 112,13, and 14). so what do you guys think? please only experienced members. thanks fellas

I'm running a similar cam. G5x2 (232/240) on a 112 and love it. I think you'd be happy with the 112+4 on that cam.

the "+" dictates the advance that is ground into the cam. For instance, a cam that is on a 108 ICL with a 112+2 LSA indicated that it has 6 degrees of advance.

ms3 is a good bit bigger. i think the 233/239 will be a little more street friendly plus tsp says the power band is lower which is more convenient

I believe 112+2 has 2 degrees of advance ground in....
