Default Head bolt question.....

So I was putting my heads on today and put a head gasket on upside down. I know, I know....pay more attention. I had to pull the head bolts (that I fully tightened down by the way) and I flipped the gasket. Should I be able to use the bolts I took out? I know once it's gone through a heating a cooling cycle that you can't reuse them but what if I haven't started it up yet? Should I be ok?

I would reuse them even if they went through heating cycles. As long as they were not over heated you could reuse them IMO.

tty are not supposed to be reused once they have been installed and removed.
there cheep, get a new set. let it be a lesson to you.
50-70$ not worth risking any damage to engine imo

I would get a new set or go with ARP.
