Default Torquer V3 PTV Question

I ordered a Torquer 3 on 111 lsa. I have stage 3 243s with bigger valves. I would like to time the cam +1 or +2lsa(to get peak around 6600 and shift around 6800-6900) and because I have nitrous too(I know it doesnt make a big difference about N2O but heh). Because I see the T3 is peaking around 6400-6500 all the time.

What about the ptv clearance?? If I advance the cam, does it make a difference on the PTV? (because I already hit a piston with old engine because of an overrev at 7000K with current cam which is smaller TR224 and spun a rod 2days later)

I have forged pistons now with valve relief..

TV3 has advance build in it. IIRC
The only way you'll get true answers is to degree it and measure.
LSA +/- advance = ICL

Also the peak of your cam is majorly determined by the IVC (intake valve closing) and restricted by the intake you use. What intake are you using?

So yes that cam will generaly peak around 6300>6400 in a 346.
Changing the ICL (retarding it) will not push the peak farther out. It will make it less peaky and able to hold that peak longer, that yes. But that will push the midrange trq upwards as well.

So I better not retard it in other words predz?

..got it, depends on where I want the power..upper or lower..I'll stay lower for reliability of the engine and better torque for street setup. Plus I dont want to push the limit of the PTV by going in the upper rpm.

Yes that is what I mean.
BTW advancing decreases intake PTV clearance, and increases exhaust
retarding increases intake and decreases exhaust.
