Default Thoughts on custom blower cam specs?

Still on my stock internals. Running a D1SC w/ 7psi max and a free flowing exhaust (1 7/8 headers and Mufflex 3.5" with cutout in I-pipe). Looking for a cam upgrade...something mild to moderate. Came up with an XE lobe grind:

222/228 .566/.571 114+4

The spreadsheet I found says it'll turn out to be on a 110 ICL with a DCR of 8.08 and -3* of overlap (if I'm reading/calc'ing correctly). So, I'm assuming this should idle nicely and still perform fairly well in the lower-mid range.

Anyone with thoughts on this as a SC cam? My concerns are:

1) Going too big with the numbers may make the car suffer down low since it's a centrifugal supercharger setup.

AND

2) Going too aggressive on the lobes...

LOL I just realized this is basically one of the grinds Speed Inc sells. So, my only question remains to be regarding the "+4" ground into the cam. Do I want the extra DCR it creates on a forced induction setup or should I stick with a straight up 114 LSA at a DCR of 7.81?

I wish I could help with the cam specs but I know Futral Motorsports sells two blower cams you might want to check out. If you don't mind what are you putting down with your current setup?

Had some belt slip on the dyno when I had it on the rollers a couple years back. Between fixing that and a valve that had kissed a piston from the previous owner, I'd expect it to be in the 500+rwhp range. I think with the addition of a cam and a smaller pulley to bring boost back to 7psi, it should be near 600rwhp.

With you still being on stock internals and no mention of after market heads or intake I'd say that's pretty good. I'm looking at doing a D1SC on mine sometime in the new year so this info is encouraging.

I think the combo of the FMIC and the exhaust setup is helping a lot.

what are your other mods. 500+ RWHP seems kinda high for stock, S/C only + Exhaust. then 600+ with a cam? all the stock S/C combo's are usually ive seen are 450-500 usually

I'll have to see if I can dig up the sheet. On the dyno, it made ~440 with 3~4psi or so. Engine is stock internals, custom charge pipes, ported TB, FMIC, & good exhaust. Not the little rinky dink intercoolers that mount behind the foglights. Maybe it's just a freak?

Maybe I'm a lil too optomistic. IDK
