Default H/C/I Help or suggestions.

Ok, so on my budget I've pretty much decided to use my stock short block and go with a head, cam and intake set up.

I've been thinking so far MS4 with PRC 2.5 LS6 heads and FAST 92mm intake with 92mm TB.

Now a little background info,

Current Mods are Full exhaust and lid as well as a bunch of irrelevant suspension stuff.

car is an M6 with 61k miles.

Not a DD what so ever (under 5k a year) so I'm looking for something aggressive. Will track it once I get a new rear, but will take it easy till then.

Now im looking to make over 450rwhp/tq. Should hit that easy with this set up right?

Also I've done almost everything on my car myself but should I trust my self to install the heads and cam myself or go to the pros?

My budget is looking around 3-4k.

What other heads would you suggest?

well for your budget i would spend the money on h/c before the intake. something like an afr trick flow or prc 215 would be best in my opinion. i would match it with a 230+ cam. then i would save for the rear. for the money spent on the fast set up youre almost halfway there to a stout rear end

Hmm, thats a though. My stock LS6 should suffice right? How much would I really gain with a fast set up?

The afr, trick flow and prc 215 heads are so expensive over the others. Are they really worth the extra money? How much of a gain will I see with them?

john at texas speed quoted me 2600 for prc 215s and cam. the ls6 will be fine. and yes the heads mean a lot. there are a few builds between 460-480rwhp through an m6. is yours a4 or m6?

M6. 460-480 would be nice.

I plan on calling up texas speed an getting ideas and info from them as well as Fran from Race Proven Motorsports. Thats where I got my dyno tune done and those guys too great work.

Wanted to hear what most of you guys have to say. Hopefully more people chime in.

Ok, so a little more help....

Looking into the higher end heads the combos would be over a grand more for them. How much am I really going to see over say the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads with an MS4?

With the difference I could get a new clutch and flywheel which would be nice cause the stock one is starting to give. Also would it be worth it to get 4.11s for my 10bolt till I have enough to get a build rear?

Little help here!
