Yeah, if you want the best sometimes you have to pay more. And they're not very sensitive to preload, I've heard from .010-.030.

I did look, I don't have an extra $400 to get the car running. I could see if I did a lot of racing or something that justifies it, I just want something that is going to work. I think my failure was due to lifter preload.

Lunati offers some for a decent price. Not sure on the specs but they could probably get that info to you. I'm sure someone is making the lifters for all these company and some might be the same as others for less money.

There are only a few lifter manufacturers out there so you may actually be comparing products from the same company. Comp doesn't make their lifters. If you don't want to buy Morel, then just get the LS7 lifters.

Lunatis are reboxed Morels...Lots of probs with the caddys so stay away... The LS7 see 7k on stock vettes so they are good bang for buck.. I have been spinning mine 6500k for two years no issues. Upgrade your trays to the the stiffer LS2 trays when you do the swap...

Having said that the Morels link bars will go in my stoker money allowing....
