Default main cap side bolts

some of the books say to replace the main cap side bolts. Is that because the are torque to yield, or because of the o-ring seal on them is ruined? Does anybody just reuse these, just buy putting some silicone on the threads or something?

The bolts come with a sealer from the factory. You can either replace them with some new bolts or just put some thread sealer (silicone, etc) on the threads.
