Cam Selection for Street
The car is a 1969 Camaro that will be street driven, autocrossed, and tracked. I want it to have decent street manners, but I want a little lope to the idle to give it some old school feel. I am not looking to break a certain HP target, but I would like a nice flat torque curve.
Key Engine Components:
- LQ4 6.0L
- 799 Heads
- Static Compression comes in around 10:1
- LS2 Manifold and Injectors
- LS6 Valve Springs (these can be replaced if needed, they were purchased to go with the ASA)
- Long Tube Headers
- T-56 Trans
- 3.73 Gears
Anything else you need to know to help me decide?
Thanks,
Matt
