Default Is there more power to be had..

Attached you will find my results with the TR236 Cam. I'm wondering if there is more power to be had with out tricks. What are some ideas??

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ighlight=tr236

I got the car to make 402rwhp NA uncorked with 29.5* timing and about 3% leaner (Still waiting on the dyno shop to send it) . The AF was nice and flat on that run. Changed the AF and the timing and got the 398rwhp you see, but did so to be safer on the bottle..

I'm not complaining about 398-402rwhp on stock heads. Just gready Any ideas?

I don't want Dyno tricks, thats why I made my pulls at 18psi in the nitto's..

From what I read you gained 70hp from the cam and pulley. That is good.A set of ported heads should give you 420-450hp depending on porting.

Don, I'm not upset about gaining 65 rwhp from a cam and pulley, those are awesome gains. Just trying to find out what I am missing comparing mine pulls to some TR230 pulls I have seen in the 410-415 stock head range. Maybe that is just the tire pressure..

That's cool, but don't fall into the dyno game.It cost's alot. Some cars "dyno" more than others.I've seen people post bolt-on cars with headers dyno at 380hp..So,your better off looking at what they gain on a mod,not there total hp.

Totaly understand. I'm really wondering if there are any parts I can change/add to enhance the power output for stock heads. I know EWP Roller Rockers but what else.. Hope that makes more sense..
