Will 59cc chambers work for me?

My car has just a mild cam and am looking to bolt on some Ls6 heads. I can get some cheap heads but they have been milled and have 59c chambers. Will these be okay on an otherwise stock LS1?

well if its going on a turbo motor i would say no but if its going to be n/a go for it also depends on the size of the cam

what is ur cam specs. I ran a 232/238 with 59cc chambers.

Yep, this is for an NA car. Cam specs are 232 234 .595 .598 @ 112lsa.

You are fine just make sure you have at least .080 valve to piston clearance which you should but always check and you should be good. The full spec fo mine was a 232/238 600/600 109LSA

Now what gas are u using. With those chambers your are probably going to be around the 11 to 11.5:1 compression. 93 is great for daily use, 91 is ok. Where I live you can only get 91 so I had to pull timing. Are you using 241s or 243s which heads are they?

compression is going to be higher. what size chamber you have on the car now?

I'm running a 227/235 cam with 59cc LS6 heads on .051 MLS gasket w/ NO PTV issues. Regardless of what cams everyone else is running w/ 59cc chambers, it is still a necessity to check PTV if you do the swap.
