Default anyone with tsp 233/239 come in please

considering buying this cam, i have a 99 ss camaro a4..i have a vig 3400 stall, 3.73 gears, headers, y pipe, borla, etc. Lets get to the point, im wanting to know if anyone daily drives it? i want a noticable cam that makes good power, im a gearnut so i dont mind the shaking and radical idle of the cam i just want to make sure it will be tolerable and be fine sitting under stock heads, also what springs would you recommend? the cam specs are 233/239 .595 .603..i will probably get it on a 112lsa or maybe 113. i dont trust the comp 918s for sure but what about the pac beehives good to .650? any input? thanks in advance!

Seeing as you're already stalled/geared, if you find a good tuner, you should have no problem DD'ing it. There's gearheads with MS3/4s that DD their cars, just matters of how "gearhead-ish" you are

PACs or the PRC .660s will be fine.

what about the prc gold dual springs, they are rated at .660 lift and i noticed lots of people seem to use them. I even heard of a guy with an MS3 237/242, .603"/.609", 113 LSA and the prc duals that had no issues after 30,000 miles. He was comparing the ms3 to ms4 saying

"The MS3 camshaft will certainly be easier on valve springs with the smaller lift. Our general manager, Brian, has been running the original MS3 camshaft with PRC dual valve springs for two years now! He's put right at 30,000 miles on the valve springs, and they're still taking all of the abuse he can throw at them. The valve springs won't have to be changed every six months with the MS4 camshaft, but I would certainly pull a spring or two once a year or every 10,000 miles or so to make sure the springs are still within spec."

I ran the PRC .660s with my Torquer 2 setup and now on my new motor. First set lasted around 30k miles, never broke just swapped on new heads with new springs. Who knows how long they would've lasted. A good word of thumb is to pull one or two every 15k miles or so to check seat pressure and make sure they're still in spec, like you said.
