Default Header wrap

Anybody use these on their header pipes?? The benefits are worth it; lower underhood temps, more efficient exhaust scavenging. Only down side from what I read is they hold the heat so well the metal gets so hot it changes the properties of the metal and they get brittle-guess that's why header manufacturers won't honor warranty if you wrap em'. ceramic coating and stainless are good options but I don't think they do the job the wrap does. OPINIONS PLZ SO I CAN DECIDE-THANKS

i have used them on 2 of the 8 vehicles i have owned one was a dd and i never got a chance to take them off to look at the header itself but the other was a a weekend car that saw no rain at all it only had 150 miles on it before i had to pull the headers to fix a prob with the oil pump and when i saw how bad it had rotted the headers after only 150 miles i threw the wrap away.

its no good mate, holds mositure which rots and corrodes your headers. ceramic coating is much better, looks trick and you can grab the headers after about 10 mins after shut down, it is very effective.

cheers

heres mine
