Default lsx bowtie block

I'm thinking of purchasing one of these blocks.. I've never built an engine.. I have a good bit of help on the outside but I've very much come to rely on info from this site.. I figure from what info I've garnered around the web that this not only would be a good block to derive alot of power from.. but as a newb it may be harder for me to F up lol.. any input or advice definitely welcome.. I won't be back in the states for several months and hopefully I can be at least somewhat informed before I go into this endeavor. Also hoping it will be compatible with the parts I've already put into the car
