Default 2001 corvette engine and 2002 camaro

is there any diference in the 2 engines, my 2002 camaro block has a burnt #7 piston and scored deep cylindre, can have a 2001 corvette engine with 18000km that needs 1 piston and rod(swallowed water into 1 cylindre) was thinking of putting 1 of my piston and rod in to the corvette engine. are they identical. need to know before he sells it(500$)
