So basically if I do heads cam, but later want to go bigger ci, (as long as I don't max the injector) I can run 42lb injectors for both applications? I really just don't want to buy a set of injectors for every little change I make unless it absolutely has to be done.

the stock bottom end is good for 600whp. many go over 500whp on the stock bottom end and live! Search the nitrous and forced induction section, stock block cars with 500whp are a dime a dozen.

I think he is referring to attainable power levels being N/A. most of the max effort guys top out around 500 rwhp NA, not that the block could not handle more, but that its about as much as you're going to get

^^^Correct because of cubes NA you are going to max out your engine at about 500 hp. If your doing Nitrous Oxide, Turbo or SC and your set up is done correctly your going to see 600+ hp cars easy. The LS1 block is rated to 1K hp. That's why when I see all these guys wanting to go either a 402 or 408 for what. The capability for a lot of hp is already there.

For street anything over 600 rwhp and it just became a "look at me" car. (that's my opinion and its only my opinion) disclaimer

I have a pair of 241's if your looking for some. they've got patriot gold extreme valve springs in them though. So youd be having to upgrade the cam too.
