I saw them at the PRI show in Indy. They said they are ready to ship but are waiting on a better shipping container. They said some of the ones shipped (probably to testers) had the reluctor wheel damaged. So they need to get a better crate. I asked If I could come pick one up and they said sure...you can get one right now if you go get it. It was failry cheap. Around $900 i bleieve and he said 1500 hp capable. Not sure on the weight. This is exactly what I was told by the Eagle reps in the booth at PRI.

Do they have 2 versions (4.00" and 4.125') or just 4.00?

They have 3.622", 3.900", and 4.000" cranks available. I spoke to a local dealer, and he quoted me $800 for the 4.000" crank, and said the same thing about the shipping boxes, that they should ship mid December.

It's my understanding there will be several more new LS1 cranks offer within the next year or so. I would image they will try to out do Eagle. So seems like good ahead!

Before any one throws the on new cranks are coming...I did post about the new GMPP LS1 carb intake being on it's way months ago...and it was at the PRI show. Also the ignition system that uses the stock crank sensor so a crank trigger isn't needed for the carb set up was there. The GMPP carb intake can also be used with a gear driven distrubtor too. Likewise the intake can be used for direct port fuel injection.

Hopefully the new 6.0 aluminum LS2 block will be bacwards compatible with the LS1.

Cheaper crank and block options..... 427 might be in my future!!
