Default Question about lifters

All right guys ive chosen my cam package from TSP. Im doing the new 228 cam. I know we dont have to replace the lifters but i have almost 70,000 miles on my GOAT and i was thinking it may be a good idea. What do you guys think? Last if i replace them should i buy some comp cams lifters or just get some stock ones?

Thanks

I would just go with the LS-7 lifters. Good lifters for a decent price

If you want to replace your lifters you have to take off the heads. If your heads come off you might as well upgrade those too.

You don't NEED lifters by any means. I have seen lots of 100k cars running original lifters with cams that big or bigger. If for any reason you pull the heads, the yes replace them.
