Im not an engine builder but Im having an LS1 built also. My builder is stuck here also. His books says the LS1 works 6 psi @1000/ 24 psi @4000 rpm. this is factory spec. Is this correct?

I was recently told but have not personally confirmed this that:

"Per GM manual, LSX motors should receive 7lbs of oil pressure for every 1000 rpm."
