Default MAF 90mm LS2

Will a 90MM LS2 MAF work on my 408 fast 92/90 set up? or should I just settle for the 85MM?

Thanks,

Just wanted to know if it would plug in and if it could be programmed to work.

Thanks,

Stick with the 85. A 100mm MAF show's practically no gain over an 85mm. I doubt a 90mm would give any gains.

well than why add a 92/90 if the opening to it is only 85 would it be worth the money if your going to have it tuned you can use sd and do away with the maf. Then there will be no restriction

I wasn't aware,

there's a GM 90mm Maf-sensor. The Maffed LS2's we have here are all on 85mm stock GM units.
But in answer to the question, virtually any maf can be made to work by tuning the maf-cal.

Or as someone already mentioned try running SD, by removing it completely, wire in an IAT to the intake from the maf-feed and get the PCM re-tuned. The throttle response improves along with power when done correctly.
I thought SD was a backward step, but started running it as "single-spark" here in desert, high humidity conditions 5 years ago. 4 years ago moved to a twin-spark custom tune that is closed loop (& maf) capable & never looked back.
